Whether you are preparing for an exam or a competition or simply progressing in your journey as a fiddle player, whether you feel stuck or simply uninspired then the ‘FiddleClinic’ could be for you. In a one-to-one 30 minute session with world renowned teacher, Liz Doherty, we will try to identify and articulate the problem (general or specific), look at possible solutions, and figure out how best to help you move forward with your playing.
FiddleClinic Online & Pop-up FiddleClinic
The FiddleClinic sessions are one-off 30 minute slots; the intention is that an issue is identified at the start of the session and this is then pursued for the duration of the session.
For many fiddle players a single session might be sufficient. Others might value this type of support on a more regular basis – perhaps once a month.
IS THE FIDDLECLINIC FOR YOU?
The FiddleClinic is aimed primarily at intermediate to advanced players who have a repertoire of tunes and who are able to identity an issue with their playing – it’s not necessarily about learning how to do something for the first time. However, beginner fiddler might also find support of this nature valuable, and are also welcome.
For those players who do not have a regular fiddle teacher then a FiddleClinic session should help you keep focused and motivated.If your lucky enough to have a teacher then the FiddleClinic is an addition to your regular lessons, offering a fresh perspective.
